Justification by Faith Alone

Romans 3:21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Salvation is a free gift that can never be earned by our good works. No one can ever be good enough to save themselves, it is prideful to boast in ones ability to obtain salvation through themselves, or ritual. Ritual, liturgy, works, observing new moons , sabbaths, or festivals, cannot save your soul. You are either married to the Law, or the New Covenant. Grace is defined as unearned favor. For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. While we were yet sinners Christ died for us.

Romans 7:Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another—to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God. For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death. But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.

Christ, became the sacrifice to pay for our sins. His atonement upon the cross provides redemption to fallen man-kind if we will truly make him Lord of our lives. Christ was the spotless lamb of God who took the sins of the world upon himself to bring salvation to many. His blood will wash you white as snow if you will repent, and turn from your sins, and have faith in Him. For we are saved by faith alone. However, the Lord desires obedience more than sacrifice. Come as you are to Christ with a sincere heart and let him purify you. No one is perfect, or without sin, but we must allow God's Spirit to sanctify us and set us apart. If you are truly saved, the love of God will be in your heart, and good fruit and works will be the natural result. Grace is defined as unearned favor, however, grace follows repentance. We must be born again to be saved and that means to become a new creation in Christ. A lukewarm church will be vomited out of God's mouth according to Rev 3. It is possible to back-slide and lose your salvation if you do not remain in the vine, Jesus Christ. Please consider these scriptures.

(John 15:1) “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

Consider the parable of the unforgiving servant (Matt 18:21-35). Peter asked the Lord how many times we must forgive our brother, Christ replied, "Seventy times seven."  In the same way that God grants us Grace we must also forgive others. In the parable Christ taught of a king who forgave the debts of his servant. However, the forgiven servant refused to forgive the debts of one who owed him and cast him into prison. The master became angry with the wicked servant and delivered him to the torturers. In the same way, if we do not forgive the trespasses of others, we may fall from grace and be delivered over to Satan. Consider also the Lord's prayer, "Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors." Christ's commandment is that we love one another. If we love God, we will keep the commandments of Christ, and that is to love and bear good fruit toward others.

Matt 18:32 Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. 33 Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’ 34 And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.

35 “So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.”

For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son, so that whosoever believes in him, should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

Isaiah 53:4 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth.

(Romans 10:9) that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

( 1 John 1:9) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

(1 Timothy 6: 11) But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. 12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

(2 Cor 7:10) For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.

(Luke 15:7) I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

(1 Cor 6:9) Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

1 Peter 4:7 Buthe end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”

Matt 22:37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Walk in the Light (Written by my Wife)

Walk in the Light (Written by my Wife)

Growing up as a preacher's kid, my dad used to say that you can find a sermon in anything. While this became a common joke in our family, there is a lot of truth to my dad's statement. In fact, this blog proves that theory!

The other day when I was in the shower, I noticed a black smudge on my foot; I'm not even sure how it got there. I assumed that the soap and hot water would simply wash it off, but it remained. I had to use the washcloth and scrub to remove the mark. That got me to thinking how sin in our lives is just like that! We may think it is something that will go away without any real effort on our part, but in reality, we need to work the on certain issues it to permanently remove them from our life.

Philippians 2:12 reminds us that we cannot just go on our merry way and ignore the sins in our life, we must, "work out [our] own salvation with fear and trembling." In other words, like that stain on my foot, we have to put forth the effort to be clean before the Lord.
My Bible reading this morning emphasizes the theme of this blog:
And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly (other versions say "decently" or "honestly"), as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts. Romans 13: 11-14

Just as II Corinthians 6:2 reminds us that "now is the day of salvation," so do the verses in Romans. And as Ephesians 5:14 instructs, "Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light," so the words in Romans also remind us to wake out of the darkness of sin and walk into the light of holiness!

Make no mistake, dear readers, the time is short! Surely with all the end-time events happening in the past few months, you have to be aware of it! How much time do you think we have left on this planet? I sincerely doubt we have more than 15-20 years before the end of this world, probably even less. Although this blog is not about Bible prophecy (though maybe someday I will write more on that subject if the Lord calls me to do so), the signs are there: a pandemic, plagues of locusts, unusually strong weather, even strange dust clouds appearing, rioting and chaos, the list goes on... (See at least Mark 13:8 & Luke 21:9-11) My point is that now is not the time to play around with fire, now is the time to wake up and walk into the light. Work out your salvation and get rid of the sin in your life!

You may think a little bit of sin is no big deal. A little lie here, a slipped swear word there, but I Corinthians 5:6 -7 says it differently (I exchanged the words leaven for yeast and lump for bread so that it is easier to understand), "Know ye not that a little [yeast rises] the whole [loaf of bread]? Purge out therefore the old [yeast] , that ye may be a new [loaf of bread], as ye are unleavened." (So you will be free from even the small sins damaging your soul.)

While I do not believe so-called small sins will cause us to lose our salvation, if we repeatedly choose to ignore these sins and refuse to try to change because we feel they are not as bad as murder or adultery, then the callus condition of your heart could send you to Hell. That small amount of yeast can indeed ruin your soul. We need to purge ourselves of pride, racism, deceitfulness, bad language, unforgiveness, etc. "The night is far spent," and the there is precious little time left! If you love the Lord and care about where you spend eternity, play close attention to the condition of your soul! Now is the day to make your heart right with God!

I will close with more words from II Corinthians 6 and also from Ephesians 5, please let these words sink into your heart and soul! ("Not to receive the grace of God in vain" means not to take advantage of God's favor by living a life full of sin, read on...)

We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. For He says:
“In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.”
Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
But in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God... by purity, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love, by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left...
Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
“I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”
Therefore “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters," Says the Lord Almighty.” II Corinthians 6:1-7, 14-18
Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them.
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light, for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth, finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. Therefore He says:
“Awake, you who sleep,
Arise from the dead,
And Christ will give you light.”
See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God. Ephesians 5:1-21

Are You Washed in the Blood of the Lamb?

Are You Washed in the Blood of the Lamb?

If you were to die today, do you know where your soul would be? We have no guarantee of tomorrow, we don't know when the Lord will require our soul. Today, is the day of salvation do not put eternity off. Our Lord Jesus Christ left his throne in glory and became a man in order to die for the sins of the world.

Christ, became the sacrifice to pay for our sins. His atonement upon the cross provides redemption to fallen man-kind if we will truly make him Lord of our lives. Homosexuality is an Abomination to God! Judgement is at the Door!

Homosexuality is an Abomination to God! Judgement is at the Door!

June as been designated as gay pride month. Thousands will be marching in the streets worldwide to promote their perversion. Companies like eBay, and Amazon are promoting gay pride month through adds. American embassies worldwide asked permission to fly the gay rainbow flag under the US flag.

Previous generations would be shocked to see a world that has lost it's moral fabric. When God's ways are replaced by spiritual corruption you will see all types of filth and evil endorsed. In the past, this shameful lifestyle was kept in the closet, but now it's being pushed upon us from every direction. Our public schools teach that it is normal to have two daddies, or two mommies. Drag queens are holding small children in their laps while reading them stories. Transgender bathrooms are now present in some public schools. It is now illegal to refuse a man who identifies himself as transgender from using a woman's restroom or locker room. I never thought I would see this large scale manifestation of evil in America. We truly live in the United States of Sodom and Gomorrah.

A major sign of the end of the age is the legalization of same-gender marriage. Every great empire in history that has accepted the homosexual lifestyle as being normal has fallen within a generation. Marriage is a holy union between a man and a woman that is sanctioned by God and should not be perverted. Around eight years ago, the Lord spoke to me that gay marriage was a slap to his face and that the Supreme Court would make gay marriage the law of the land, and judgment would soon come thereafter. Today, we have seen this word come to pass, former President Barrack Obama asked the Supreme Court to legalize gay marriage nationwide, and now gay marriage has become a reality. We have witnessed the federal government override the will of the people and prove that our votes are meaningless. It is unconstitutional for a federal or a state judge to override an issue that the citizens of a state have voted against; this is tyranny. The states are gradually losing their autonomy to a federal government that has no regard for the constitution or the will of the people.

The Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, as well as the surrounding cities because of their wickedness, Genesis 19:1-29. The Bible tells us that the men of Sodom lusted after the angels of God who were sent to deliver Lot and his family out of Sodom; they demanded that the angels be brought to them so that they might have sexual relations with them. In response to their wickedness, the angels smote them with blindness, then led Lot and his family out of Sodom prior to God raining fire and brimstone upon the city. The New Testament book of Jude tells us that God destroyed these cities specifically because of the sin of homosexuality (strange flesh), to make them an example for all time.  Jude 1:7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

God does not consider homosexuality to be a small issue, but rather a grave sin. God’s Word teaches us that homosexuality is an abomination to God, this means that it is detestable or an insult to God. Many people today say that God made people homosexual and that God does not make mistakes. God does not make anyone homosexual, homosexuality is a perversion like pedophilia, or bestiality. This is like saying that God made people adulterers or sex addicts. We live in a fallen world where people allow themselves to be corrupted by entertaining sin. Homosexuality is a spiritual bondage from which people can be delivered. I have met people that were delivered from homosexuality and are now straight, as well as married. Christ died upon the cross to set the captive free and through sincere repentance, the bondage of homosexuality can be broken. A person can be saved, delivered, and made clean through faith, repentance, and perseverance.

Homosexuality is not a civil rights issue, as some believe. Many liken it to the racial inequality issues of the sixties, but it is an issue of sexual perversion, not race. Christians however, should show the love of Christ to homosexual people in order to win them over to the truth, which can set them free. Hate, name-calling, or violence should be condemned, as well as abhorred. Below, is a list of scriptures that address homosexuality.

Romans 1:24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

Lev 20:13 If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.

Deut 22:5 “A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the Lord your God.

1 Cor 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals,p nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

1 Timothy 1:8 Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it lawfully, 9 understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, 10 the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine,

Jude 1:7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Watch Employees get Computer Chip Implants

Rev 13:16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.

Please link to this video. It shows employees receiving micro chip implants in their hands for identification, as well as to make financial purchases.

I believe that in the near future this technology may lead to the mark of the beast. However, I don't believe that the time is now. I believe this will occur during the reign of the Russian world dictator.

The Shaking

The Begining of Sorrows

The economies of the world are on the brink of collapse and civil disobedience is everywhere. People world wide are unemployed and starving. I believe these events will eventually lead to the Great Tribulation. We are living in the twelfth hour, or sundown upon this age of mankind. This is not a time of fear, but it is a time to repent of our sins and to be truly born again. We need to be seeking God with all of our hearts and forming a true relationship with him. The religion of the lukewarm majority of churches are shutting people out of the Kingdom of God. It is time to get the culture out of the church and to return to sound doctrine.

The Lord gave me several dreams about the coming economic collapse. I saw cities that were all dried up. The streets were dry dust, and there was a large black dust storm on the horizon that was about to blow across this land. The coming economic collapse will cause a famine. I saw people coming to a church to beg for food, as well as seek shelter. The Lord provided for those who earnestly sought after Him.

The Lord spoke the words, "Panic in the streets" to me. I saw a man running in the streets threatening to commit suicide because he lost everything in a collapse of the stock market. When the economy crashes, many people will commit suicide, and there will be panic in the streets. I don't know when this will occur, but I believe that it will be in the near future.

I also, dreamed that I was standing in line with hundreds of people to register for a new form of national census. I understood that anyone who did not register their family would be prosecuted. I waited in line for many hours before my turn came.

Next, I witnessed a congressman standing in front of a stone monument of an eagle. He was urging the government to take ownership of all businesses and lands. The American people were very upset that a communist form of government was replacing capitalism. I also understood that the American eagle had great influence worldwide. I witnessed a revolution within America. However, the revolution was put down in a short time. I believe that these events will unfold shortly and will set the stage for the Great Tribulation. I believe that our government will ultimately turn over control to the Russian world dictator who will be the anti-christ. During the last half of the tribulation there will be nuclear warfare as the empire of the beast experiences civil war. It's all in the Bible.

Jesus Christ Our Passover Lamb

Jesus Christ Our Passover Lamb

There is no greater love than a man that is willing to lay down his life for a friend. Our Lord Jesus Christ left his throne in Heaven, clothed himself in the frailty of human flesh, and died a horrible death in order to provide redemption for us. For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son, so that whosoever believes in him, should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). It was no small sacrifice that our Lord made upon the cross of Calvary, for he gave his very life, so that we may live with him in the eternal Kingdom of God. Redemption means to redeem or purchase something. Christ was literally buying us back from Satan through his sacrifice upon the cross.
Because of the disobedience of Adam, the earth fell from perfection into corruption, and Satan became the prince and power of this fallen world. However, Christ became the second Adam, in that through his obedience to the Father, he provided eternal life to all who will make him Lord of their life.

Jesus Christ (Messiah) is our Passover lamb. On the day of preparation, when the Jews killed, as well as prepared the lamb for the Passover meal, our Lord was crucified. Through the shed blood of our Lord, provision was made for sins to be passed over. To properly understand the atonement that Christ provided, we must understand the Hebrew sacrificial system, as well as the holy feasts, and how they were fulfilled by our Messiah.

The Passover lamb had to be spotless and without defect, or God would reject it. The blood sacrifice of the lamb was symbolic of the sacrifice of God’s sinless son upon the cross. Christ was tempted in every way that we are, yet he remained the only sinless man ever to walk the earth. Christ was the only man who could take our place upon the cross.

Following the feast of Passover (commemoration of when God passed over the homes of the Hebrews during the slaughter of the firstborn of Egypt) is the week of unleavened bread. During this holy week, the Hebrews would remove all leaven from their homes, as well as only eat unleavened bread. Leaven was similar to yeast, in that it made bread rise, and it is symbolic of sin. So prior to this holy week, the Hebrews would clean their homes top to bottom, as well as remove all food that contained leaven. This was symbolic of removing sin from their lives. Salvation begins with true repentance of sins. When we make Jesus Christ the Lord of our lives through faith in his atonement upon the cross, he washes us clean, and all of our sins are removed.

When Christ died upon the cross, the veil in the temple was torn apart. The temple veil covered the entrance to the Holy of Holies. Only the Levitical priest was permitted to enter this most inner chamber. The Ark of the Covenant was kept there. The priest would sprinkle blood upon the mercy seat, between the two cherubim, on top of the Ark. This was done to cleanse the tabernacle, as well as make atonement for the sins of the people. The high priest would offer up an animal sacrifice for himself, as well as the people. When Christ made atonement for our sins upon the cross, his blood was sprinkled upon the mercy seat in Heaven. Christ, our high priest made the final sacrifice for sins. Since the veil was torn from top to bottom in the temple, we now have access to the Holy of Holies (God). The veil of separation between God and man has been removed forever. It was, and is, the custom of the Jews, to wear a Tallit (Hebrew prayer shawl) upon their heads when praying, or reading from the Torah, or the Prophets. However, under the New Covenant, it is a shame for a man to cover his head, because the veil of the Mosaic Law has been removed.

The atonement of Christ also provided for the healing of our bodies. God’s Word states that He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, and by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Christ was scourged with the Roman cat of nine tails. This device had nine leather straps with bone and metal in each strap. Many men died from this type of torture, but our Lord endured it. His stripes provide healing for our physical bodies. God’s Word says that if there be any sick among you to call for the elders, to anoint with oil and pray over the sick, and the prayer of faith will restore them, and if they have committed sins they will be forgiven (James 5:14,15).

Faith is required for healing. When Christ healed the sick and cast out demons, he said that their faith has made them well. When Christ saw the faith of the paralytic, he healed him and said, “Your sins are forgiven you." When Christ healed the two blind men, he said, “According to your faith let it be to you." In some cases, sickness is the result of personal sins. Christ told some of the people that he healed that their sins were forgiven them. When seeking God for a healing, it is good to examine yourself and repent of sins in your life. Sins such as un-forgiveness, hatred, or strife, may block your healing. Faith accompanied by obedience to Christ, is necessary for your breakthrough.

(Matt 9:2) Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you."

(Matt 9:27) When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, "Son of David, have mercy on us!" 28 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" They said to Him, "Yes, Lord." 29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith let it be to you."

However, sickness is not always the result of sin. Jesus passed by a man who was blind from birth and his disciples asked him who sinned that this man was born blind. Jesus told them that no one sinned; he was born blind so that the works of God, should be revealed in him. This passage shows that sickness, or deformity, is not always the result of personal sin, but is the result of living in a fallen world (John 9:1-3). There are gifts of healings that God grants to many of his children (1 Cor 12:9). However, not everyone is healed, God grants healings according to his will and timing. The prophet Elisha died from an illness when he was old, also Jacob’s wife Rachel died in childbirth, and their deaths were not the result of sin, or punishment.

The Lord is willing to forgive us of all of our sins, no matter how big they are, if we will repent and turn from them. The Lord is very patient, as well as merciful with each of us; he gives us time to grow in our Christian walk. Will you accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal savior? There is Heaven to be gained, as well as Hell to be avoided. If we repent of our sins, as well as make confession of our faith in Christ, we shall be saved, as long as we continue in that faith unto the end. If you would like to accept Christ into your heart then please pray with me.

Lord Jesus Christ,

I believe that you are the Son of God, the creator of all things.

I believe that you died upon the cross for my sins, and I ask you to forgive me of all of my sins, as I turn from them to everlasting life.

I believe that the Father raised you from the dead, and that by accepting you as my Savior, you will also raise me from the dead when you return.

Please help me to overcome sin and to become a new creation in you.

Lord Jesus, please send your Holy Spirit now to live within me now.
In the most holy name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen!

This prayer alone will not save your soul, unless you pray with sincerity, as well as conviction. Accepting Christ into your heart is the beginning of your Christian walk, not the end. You must remain in the faith, study your Bible, as well as grow spiritually. The Holy Spirit is our helper, counselor, and friend, he is the portion of God’s Spirit that indwells us.

Please consider these Scriptures in regard to salvation.

\
(John 15:1) “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
