Isaiah 26:20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.21 For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
God did not build the ark for Noah, nor did he rapture him out of the earth. God instructed Noah what to do, and waited patiently 120 years for Noah to build the ark of safety. Noah obeyed God and by faith completed the ark.
Like Noah, we are to prepare for the soon coming great tribulation. In Rev 12, God has promised to protect his overcomers in wilderness locations. It is important to pray, as well as to listen to God for his instructions. God will not necessarily protect you where you are. Nuclear judgement will burn much of the earth. Christ will return immediately after the tribulation of those days as he said. Those that remain of the elect will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air immediately after the bombs drop.
The pre-tribulation rapture doctrine is a man-made theory that the Bible does Not support. You have to make scriptures jump through quite a few hoops to come up with this man-pleasing doctrine. This doctrine did Not exist before the 1800's.
Jesus was asked when he would return and his words should be enough to settle this question. Christ said in Matt 24 that he will return immediately after the tribulation and will send out his angels to gather the elect from the four winds of heaven. All of those martyred within the tribulation will have part in the first resurrection. If the rapture and resurrection occurred before the tribulation then they would have no resurrection.
Matt 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Mal 3:16 Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name.
17 And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
