Excerpt from article: Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is sounding the alarm over what she says are discussions inside the U.S. government about the possible use of nuclear weapons against Iran.
In a lengthy post on X on Sunday, Greene claimed nuclear options have been raised during strategy meetings. “Yes you read that correctly. It’s real. I’m not speculating, I know,” she wrote.
Greene strongly condemned the idea, pointing to the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945 and the enormous civilian toll that followed. She argued that any use of nuclear weapons against Iran could trigger consequences far beyond the immediate battlefield, including wider regional conflict, economic disruption and mass casualties.
